Change of Watch
Our Annual Change of Watch takes place in the month of January, and celebrates
the induction of new Bridge Officers and Board of Directors. The Ship’s bell
sounds the official beginning of the New Watch at a formal Dinner Dance, and
Bridge officers receive their official flags.

Cruise Fever Party
Every year the kickoff of the Cruise schedule begins with a theme oriented,
nautical evening of food, fun and friends. You can expect anything from a
cruise ship, to island hopping, to ship races. It’s always a great time for
everyone, and you’re never quite sure what you’ll see when the members come out
for fun.

A Giving Tree Party
Every year, CHYC selects a local charity to sponsor, and the members come out in
force to help and support needy children at Christmastime. Toys, gifts and
monetary donations are contributed to our friends who need us most at this most
giving time of the year. It’s not unusual to see several hundred gifts under
the tree.
